Transmissions Private Limited has been promoted by Sh. Gurdeep Singh
Jujhar, the chairman of Jujhar Group of Companies. It is a MSO (Multi
System Operator) transmitting the signals of various entertainment
channels (Broadcasters) to different cable operators. The company is an
intermediary between the Broadcasters and the Cable Operators. It
started its operations in the year 2007 and at present covers the entire
Punjab area and major part of North India. The company has established
the network and infrastructure for carriage of signals in the entire
length and breadth of its territory (Punjab, Haryana, Jammu &
Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh) by laying Optic Fibre Cable. At present
the Company is transmitting signals of over 100 channels to various
cable operators on analogue as well as on digital basis. The company has
mainly three types of media content to telecast to its viewers i.e.
content received from the broadcasters, content procured through Copy
Rights and News & Live Telecasts of local programmes from its
Studio,which can be viewed on its own over 50 channels. It has a
complete and comprehensive infrastructure for transmitting the digital
and analogue signals to the last mile subscribers through its network.
The Company has its branch offices at all the districts and major cities
of Punjab, Haryana & Himachal, for administration and control of
the operations.
